I'M HYRUM DENNEY
PRODUCT LEADER WITH TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
I started my career as a software developer and my education was focused in computer science and human and computer interaction. Leading teams of developers and designers early on helped me realize how passionate I was about building products that people love. I've spent most of my career in UX and product management roles helping companies great products, systems and roadmaps that lead to data supported outcomes. I now lead product management and user experience at GoReact as the VP of Product.

UX SHELF BLOG
I started the UX Shelf blog to have a place to share thoughts and perspectives from my personal experiences, industry best practices and from things I'm listening to and reading. The blog touches on the following topics: agile, user experience, product management, and behavioral psychology.
I wrote an article for Smashing Magazine based on results from a usability study I conducted related to website navigation patterns. Not long after the article was published, the editor asked if they could include my writings in one of the Smashing ebooks.
